Dr Jaffery has vast experience assessing and treating various cognitive disorders including
Alzheimer's disease and other degenerative brain disorders, post-stroke neuro-psychiatric
conditions, traumatic brain injuries and cognitive disorders related to general medical conditions
and chronic substance abuse. Dr Jaffery has worked in acute medical and gero-psych units with
these condition and now offers similar services on an outpatient basis. After initial assessment,
detailed report will follow which will outline diagnostic impression and recommendation. In many
instances further workup for example blood chemistry, neuro-imaging etc is needed to clarify
diagnosis, functional assessment strengths, weaknesses etc.

Some conditions for this assessment include:

age 65 or older ( younger patients can get the services on case by case basis)
History of cognitive decline
accompanied by a reliable historion
be able to follow through on further testing, blood work, neuro-imaging etc.
