Evaluations and Testing

Saif Jaffery, MD at Scottsdale Behavioral Health provide comprehensive computerized assessment
and evaluations of wide variety of common psychiatric and psychological conditions. These tests are
based on most recent development in the field. A detailed report will be generated at the end of each
testing session. These reports are highly validated, reliable and directly help patients. Dr Jaffery will
use the reports to formulate diagnosis, prognosis and treatment plan. Patients who have taken these
tests have reported high level of satisfaction. Below are the names and a brief description of the tests
and assessments.

1. ADHD/ ADD
Assessment of ADHD/ADD using continuous performance test. This test is valid for ages 4-80 yrs.

2. Addiction
Assessment of severity, prognosis for treatment and different psycho-social and personal variables,
which directly influence interventions, counseling and relapse. This is supplemented with effective
detox protocols utilized by Dr Jaffery for addiction on variety of substances.

3. Marital Satisfaction
Comprehensive assessment for identifying the nature and extent of relationship distress with couples
considering or beginning conjoint therapy. The test is extremely reliable and valid for addressing
relationship problems and how to address them by therapy.

6. Personality Assessment
Assessment of personality and psychopathology for adult and adolescents by using the most
researched personality inventory MMPI, MMPI 2RF and MMPI Adolescent.

4. Cognitive and Neuro-Psychiatric Assessment
For mild cognitive impairment (MCI), dementia, traumatic brain injuries and other organic disorders.
